Default Smart Cars

I'm kind of curious about Smart Cars. Does anyone out there have one? I'd love to know what people think.

Talking Re: Smart Cars

My 2009 Mercury Mariner 4WD Hybrid is a Smart Car. It shuts itself off automatically below 40 mph and goes to extreme fuel saving mode downhill or cruising. It also has inputs for laptops and iPods, cell phones, etc. Navigation system and anti-theft built in. The 4WD is automatic, and so is stabilization.
I have flown many aircraft and most were not as smart as this vehicle!! It also cost as much as my first house in the late 1970s, and 50% more than my Mooney M20E in the 1980s.
The dealer gave me a great trade in on my paid off Tacoma Crew Cab, and I had saved enough from having no mortgage or electric bills to pay cash on the balance. I no longer needed a pickup truck, but did need a 4WD. I wanted a hybrid to be completely green. It being also smart was a plus.
