Thumbs up With Speed and Violence, Fred Pearce

and his "When Rivers Run Dry" are mandatory reading for true environmentalists.

Very complete books on global warming tipping points and the criticality of water supplies in much of the world.

Unhappy Re: With Speed and Violence, Fred Pearce

After the book was published, one of the tipping points mentioned was hit---2009 Arctic Tundra methane release positive feedback loop at the tipping point. This is very serious and requires immediate response by cutting HGHGs by 90% NOW. But what is being done? Very little.
