One of the US' oldest conservation organizations, the National Audubon Society, has publicly declared its support for continued wind development, and its belief that the climate crisis poses a much bigger risk to our feathered friends.

The USA is a big place and so much is going on there to act against climate change biut we tend to only hear the bad things in the UK I would suggest. Looks like the arguments about wind turbines killing loads of birds has sort of gone away? After all how manyare killed by cars?

There are actually more birds are killed from flying into buildings than birds killed by wind turbines. Newer wind turbines are so large and slow-moving that they are easy to avoid.

Also, the sites for wind farms are chosen carefully. Most wind farms are positioned well away from migratory routes or places were they could endanger wildlife.
