We are running out of options though. Fish are a decent source of food for people and the international food supply is generally threatened. That said, I think that the corporations should really just switch to fish farms. They are much better for the environment.

Overfishing has affected the ecological system so adversely, it's making giant jellyfish a nuisance in japanese shores.

The jellyfish are also in the Med, too. It is more than just over-fishing, human caused global and sea warming is making their habitat larger. The over-fishing by the Asians is notorious and they will not obey any international rules.

It would have worked to keep out the red ink, lead the world in population and pollution reduction. Now, all that should be done with time is of the essence and retroactively.
